The staff were wonderful. My meal ( breaded prawns then fish and chips ) was actually the best meal I had during our stay. However the hotel itself was somewhat old and needed some repair. The floorboards were very noisy and our bedroom window actually had a hole in the lower part of the window frame. We had to use a towel to stop the cold air from coming in.

Our room window was jammed open a bit on one side. The only thing going for this hotel is its location.

Parking is on a first come first served basis. Not enough spaces for everyone. This was not clear when booking. Room "tired" but comfortable. Staff excellent especially the lady at breakfast and the "new" receptionist.
