"This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. "Great location - we were able to park the car when we arrived and walked throughout Bar Harbor for our entire stay. Parking was included! Comfy beds and linens The staff was very kind and helpful too! While a breakfast isn't included, they offer all kinds of snacks and coffee all day. Would definitely stay here again."

"Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well."

"We had a perfect stay at this beautiful hotel. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. The room was perfect, clean and comfy. The location and view can’t be beat.
