"The property is in a great location… but the hotel is old… Shower water pressure is not good… The carpet really needs to be cleaned smells like mildew just not a good smell and sad to say but hotel do have roaches… I talked with front desk about spraying the room and air freshener the response maintenance has to spray and No air freshener but he will make a note of it…."

"Upon walking up to the building, I noticed it hasn’t seen a pressure washer since 1920. Bugs cover every window, outside chair, ceilings, gazebo.. infested. When I entered the building, I was greeted by the smell of mold. Understandably it’s an old building, but it near knocked me out. Once I got into my room, I stepped foot on a crunchy stained rug that’s probably never seen a shampoo. The bathroom was extremely basic and a bugs of course stuck to the wall. While I shower with soap filled hair, suddenly the water stopped, and again and again and this continued every time we used water. Upon lifting the sheets to snuggle up in bed, I’m greeted by not one but 3 mosquitos stuck to the inside of the sheets. Then look to my left and see another bug that I cannot name exactly. Completely exhausted, I grabbed the blanket I took from home, thank god. I turned to plug my phone in bed and what do you know, there’s no plug and some random guests bracelet waited patiently for me to find it. During the night the AC continuously turns on/off and the room will fluctuate significantly. I felt a hot flash all night long, sweating to freezing. Finally morning, we eagerly pack our things and go to check out. Im told there’s “complimentary coffee” and I’m excited by one final let down… the most horrible bitter bottom shelf coffee you can buy. Thanks supervisor of Lakeside Inn for being the worst host & least compassionate person. Your declining to reconcile this is GROSSLY irresponsible. "

"For the most part the stay was excellent. However my room was next to someone staying with a dog. The walls are not soundproof and the dog barking woke me up at. 7:00 am."
