"I really loved this hotel. There are 2 onsen - one indoor (which I found a bit hot) and on outdoor, which was the perfect temperature and which I loved. They provide really lovely amenities - bath products, moisturizer, tea pot and tea. It felt quite luxurious I only cooked in the kitchen once - just the frozen pizza that they sell. It was very clean and well stocked, I just find a grocery store in the places I was in. They serve breakfast each morning, which is basically tea, coffee, juice, and a variety of pastries. There are lovely places to sit to relax or read. It’s a very comfortable hotel and is quite near the ohiridai train station or bus stop for travel into Gora or Hakone Yumoto. However, if like me, you return tired after a long day and don’t feel like taking any more transit, there is really nothing within walking distance. There are frozen meals and a variety of snacks for sale, however. "

"Disappointing. Booked as a treat. Not met by any staff on arrival. Instead staff wanted times for dinner and breakfast … insistent on both before we had even been taken to room. Taken to room we had not booked with a broken bed in it. Had to explain room we booked was Tatami/Japanese not western. Waited 30 minutes for staff to speak to owner before room changed. Dinner - was booked for 8.30pm in response to staff demand. 8pm staff demanded we go to dinner directly after onsen. Told us dinner had been waiting cooked for 20 mins! "

"Great size room, super comfy Mattress, delicious breakfast with the best omelette ever made by a fantastic chef! The onsen , public bath, sauna facilities with a fantastic view of Fuji Mount. The view of Fuji from the Hotel Mt Fuji made our ten day trip to Japan very special."
