"We stayed at Sun Mountain Lodge over the July 4th weekend and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, and offers the perfect combination of relaxation, adventure, and exceptional hospitality.
Our room was beautiful, with a cozy fireplace and a private deck overlooking the mountains. We spent our days horseback riding through the mountains, hiking, and swimming at Patterson Lake. There is so much to enjoy both on the property and in the surrounding area.
A very special shoutout to Ahmed, the lodge’s wine representative, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He took the time to give us a tour of the wine cellar and share his incredible knowledge and passion for wine. His warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality made the experience particularly special. It’s people like Ahmed who really elevate a stay from great to unforgettable!
We’ve been fortunate to stay at some wonderful properties, and Sun Mountain Lodge genuinely stands out. Between the beautiful setting, thoughtful amenities, and exceptional staff, it’s a place we’d happily return to.
