"Extremely comfortable stay with gorgeous view of the mountains. Staff were very helpful. However, there was a large touring group in the hotel and our left luggage was mixed up with theirs and it was a mess. The baggage tag did not have the number of baggages and we had to drive back to collect one. Thank goodness that we remembered in time and didn’t drive far."

"I loved everything about the Hotel! The location, amenities, and food were excellent! The staff were phenomenal! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I had one of the best massages I have ever had at the spa. The restaurant had great food and the morning buffet had a lot of variety. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. When I come back to Kathmandu I will definitely stay here again."

"Everything was amazing at the hotel. The staff was so helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable. The only suggestion for improvement that I have is to upgrade the toilets. They were kind of disgusting to look at."

"Thls little resort is a family run business. Shekhar and his family make you feel so welcome. His Wife and Daughter do the cooking and are amazing Cooks and Bakers. " I had hoped to lose some weight on my trip" but with such great meals I didn’t..... WIFI is available and included. Beautiful valley views from the rooms I was in. I was in two, a smaller one which is what I paid for. But after 3 days they upgraded me to a larger room at no cost."

"We stayed in the suite 902. The wifi did not work for most of our stay. The electric outlets are so loose your charger does not stay in the wall you have to prop up the bottom of the charger with a book or glass to keep it from falling out of the socket. The light switches are in odd locations, for example to turn on the bathroom light you have to go to the far side of the room to a group of switches by the bedside and turn on all lights. The coffee offered in the room was nescafe packets. ...

"The staff at Hotel Vajra are lovely....helpful, friendly and full of advice. The food is fine, with a good buffet style breakfast and eggs cooked to order. The garden setting gives some tranquillity amid the very busy Kathmandu streets, and the craftsmanship and historic feel to the hotel are highlights. Second time I have visited this hotel -and I would recommend it to others."

"The room was clean, but there is some wear and tear, particular grout and furniture. The A/C worked well. I received an upgraded room. The breakfast was simple but plentiful. Upon request I was provided with fresh milk for my tea in my room. The area is quite noisy until at least midnight. The backside of the hotel is probably quieter. The airport pick up was bungled but after taking an uber, we will reimbursed."
