"We booked the junior suite at the Strand Hotel at the last minute through Expedia after we decided to travel to the Skeleton Coast on a whim. Don’t miss this hotel! It was worth every penny. The accommodation and service are 5 star! The breakfast selection is not to be beat. There are many dining options on and off property. "Great hotel in the heart of Swakopmund, very close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice balconies. Even without A/C, the room was plenty cool at night during my New Year stay. The staff are wonderful and very helpful with booking activities. Just a heads-up: your private fridge is located in a shared kitchen area for your section rather than in the room. Breakfast is standard for Namibia. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a very good stay at The Residence At Villa Wiese. We booked a family room - it's an ensuite room with a double bed and an upstairs room with single beds for the kids.(They loved having their own space upstairs.)
