We have stayed here a couple times with our soccer team, and it is always a great fit. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, even offering different breakfast options for our kids who don’t eat pork. They always make us feel so welcome! The pool area is relatively big and well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Depending on which room you get, the AC unit can be loud, but that was the only complaint over the weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

The bathroom had scuffs or dirt on the side of the tub and the walls near the toilet were pretty dirty. Otherwise the room was clean and well kept. The staff at check in was pleasant, but the breakfast staff was not. I was lectured about keeping the lids down on the buffet items (neither my teen nor I were the ones who left the lid open). I was spoken to harshly and told “that’s how the food is kept hot”. Then the lid was loudly slammed down. I don’t particularly like starting my day with a rude lecture, especially when I’m a paying guest at a a hotel.

The overall property and staff were good. Breakfast is yummy. We just had an above average number of oddities that caused us to rate our stay as just ok. 1. There was a dog barking in the room next door to us upon check-in. It was clear due to the DND sign on the door the occupants left the dog unattended as there was zero correction to the animal to hush. I alerted the front desk when I left, she looked shocked and appeared to take action. When we returned the next day from our adventures the same thing happened but it didn’t last as long. 2. There was a floss pick left in the shower from the previous guest. 3. The AC unit was struggling; every 7 minutes it sounded like a ghost was trying to escape. 4. We came back to the room after being gone all day & our TV was on (we never turned it on) and there was a Welcome message for a guest by the name of James E; we have no idea who James E is..
