Donna, the front desk welcome ambassador was outstanding. She is attentive, engaging and genuinely interested in the guest’s experience. So the stay started as an “10”. Unfortunately, Donna doesn’t get to run housekeeping, maintenance or the restaurant. Housekeeping required 2 phone calls after 4pm to get our room serviced; breakfast service was timely one day and almost non-existent on another; exterior door locks to the self-park lot were broken for more than half our stay, which prevented access into the hotel from the guest parking area. The shower lacked seals, so lots of water onto the bathroom floor. Room was very clean. Shower had small amounts of mold. Would not stay again in spite of the exceptional initial welcome engagement.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff was delightful. Unfortunately our room (in the tower, and top floor) while stylish and modern had multiple electrical failures. Our bedside usb chargers were not functional, so we tried to charge our phones and iPads in the wall, but the wall outlets next to our beds were also not working. We had one outlet that functioned, it was next to our room phone. Incidentally, we tried to call the front desk and the room phone also did not function. We had just arrived from the park and it was 1:00 AM, we had not tried the outlets upon our check-in (4:00 PM). I called the front desk from my cell phone that still had a charge and the clerk was very professional and wanted to send someone to check the outlets for us, but our children were asleep. Glad I had brought our portable power block. Almost forgot, the shower leaks and flooded the bath floor and vanity counter. The staff stated that they would give us 10,000 reward points for the inconvenience and waive the resort fee. But we never received the points. It is a very nice hotel, but the staff told us that Renaissance had just acquired the property, so all of kinks had not been taken care of yet. I would recommend the hotel but I would check all of the outlets before evening time.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Love that it’s walkable to Disney Springs and other shopping/eateries. Very nice relaxing pool (with floaties you can use for free). Little gym with everything you need. Large, clean rooms. Would stay here again.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants in the Disney spring area. I was able to explore the area easily and enjoy all that it had to offer. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I could need for a relaxing stay. But what truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable, from providing recommendations for things to do in the area to making sure that all of my needs were met.
