Though the room was nice and we received a few complementary items (which were much appreciated), I received an email less than 24 hours before checkout that management had changed and that I should vacate the premises as soon as possible but no later than 9am on Monday, November 10th. This email was sent at 1:05pm November 9th. This put a bit of stress on the remainder of our last evening in Orlando as we were unsure if we would lose access to our room and that we should leave immediately but no later than 2 hours BEFORE our original checkout. I booked this trip in February so to receive notice less than a day before was very disappointing.

There was no hotel staff on site, small ants were crawling all over the hotel room, the AC barely cooled the room at night, and the whole bathroom got soaked during each shower since there was no door an only a fixed “rain” type shower head. On top of all that, there is an open air courtyard on the premises, but I was told I could not sit there at 10am because the bar/ cafe adjacent to the courtyard was not open yet. I was not asking to be served or catered to in any way, I simply wanted to sit in the open courtyard of the hotel that I was paying to stay.

Great room and location. Only note - it would be amazing if the courtyard string lights could be turned off from 12AM-6AM. It was SO bright inside to room all night long and I didn’t have an eye mask.

It was a very charming old home but they were trying to fit a circle in a square hole. We had an issue with virtual checkin because I had booked two rooms under one account- the email went to me but under the other guests name so we couldn't change it. Customer service was ultimately able to figure that out for us but a bit unresponsive when they didn't know the answer. Similarly the climate control had specific instructions on how to adjust but there was no such thermostat where it said it was, customer service was not helpful - just stopped responding when they didn't know the answer. The carpet in the rooms was a bit icky and attracted a load of tiny. little bugs. I know it's an old house in FL but I have been to FL many times before and it was significant. There was no hot water for the shower or sink. Overall it was a dud, a bit dirty with not great customer service. Pros: the restaurant on the property was nice and it had free parking!

Ich habe über Expedia gebucht und wurde nicht darüber informiert, dass dieses „Hotel“ völlig ohne Rezeption und Personal betrieben wird. Erst bei Ankunft erfuhr ich über einen QR-Code, wie ich ins Zimmer gelange. Auf dem Bett lagen Ohrstöpsel, aus gutem Grund: Bis spät in die Nacht wurde extrem laute Technomusik gespielt, was zuvor nirgends erwähnt war. Noch schlimmer war der Umgang mit meinen Paketen: Während meines Aufenthalts wurde ein erstes Paket zugestellt, das spurlos verschwand. Das Hotel war nur über einen Chat erreichbar und half mir nicht weiter. Kurz darauf war auch ein zweites Paket betroffen, zwei verschwundene Sendungen in so kurzer Zeit sind kein Zufall. Besonders empörend: Ich habe das Hotel mehrfach schriftlich angewiesen, ein Paket, das nach meiner Abreise eintreffen sollte, nicht anzunehmen. Zusätzlich brachte ich einen Hinweis am Briefkasten für den UPS-Fahrer an. Trotzdem nahm das Hotel das Paket entgegen und behauptete später dreist, ich hätte der Entsorgung zugestimmt – was völlig haltlos ist. Nach US-Recht (Bailment und Conversion) übernimmt ein Hotel mit Annahme eines Pakets die Pflicht zur ordnungsgemäßen Verwahrung. Die Entsorgung stellt eine klare Verletzung von Eigentumsrechten dar und macht das Hotel schadensersatzpflichtig. Zwei verschwundene Pakete, keine Verantwortung, massiver Lärm und völlige Intransparenz. So ein Verhalten ist unzumutbar, rechtswidrig und eine Schande für den Namen Marriott.

This place is at the end of a road with nothing around it. The hotel has no staff and no amenities. They email you a code to get into your room. No check in personal and no staff. This is definitely not a place for seniors or anyone with any physical limitations. The wife and I decided not to stay there and went to a real hotel not far from this place which was also Marriott associated. We have always liked Marriott hotels, but this was a first for us. This place might be good for some people but not for us.

We gad expectations and the pictures are great, but this stay far exceeded all of that. We enjoyed the amenities thoroughly. The plant life and eatery next door was both a vibe and convenient. Will definitely be back.

The picture of the room was done very flatteringly. The property was confusing, the lack of a standard front desk was confusing, the exterior of the building was mildly confusing, it was an old building that looked less than appealing. The location was convenient, the room inside was clean, the shower had no curtain or door, and the floor got wet with every shower. We went to the shared outside courtyard to see if it was worth checking out, saw a large rat like animal crawling in the foliage, and directly turned around and went back to our room. They were kind enough to check us in early, so I give them props for that, but I’m not sure we’d have found a front desk person if they hadn’t been cleaning one of the property’s when we walked up. The parking was less than ideal, the lot and the roadside filled up every night with club traffic making it difficult for Lyft drivers to even drop us off. While it served our needs, it was not a place I’d recommend in the future. I’m sorry for the honest review, but people should be aware before they stay.

This property is so unique with the historical building and the lovely courtyard. We enjoyed the cocktails and food at the adjacent restaurant too. The room is very spacious compared to the average hotel room. There are some signs of aging in the carpet and the ceilings, but it offers a one of a kind experience and a great location.

Our first night the music from the club right on the property played very loudly until 1am. it was quite literally outside our window, we had to draw the curtains and keep the blinds closed to have privacy, and the blinds had a broken blind right in the bathroom - facing the outside party. This was very disappointing as we were not told this, there was no kitchen or office staff nearby should we have questions about any amenities near the property.
