"First impressions are important, and they failed. Although the staff was GREAT, there was a horrible smell throughout the hotel. The carpets n the hallways were filthy and nasty.. The garbage out front wasn't emptied the three days I was there. The showers were old, and looked like they weren't cleaned since Reagan was president. "My husband is an evangelist, and we travel to the area for almost a week visiting friends that are Missionaries. This Inn was more pleasant to stay yet than a Hilton or Hampton.. friendly staff that goes above and beyond, the room was clean. The property was clean. The pool area with a view of the lake was charming.. if I had to say one thing negative about this day, it would be that the pool was not heated or that they didn’t offer a Jacuzzi for cooler temperatures. "Owners Elena and Anthony are awesome. I was planning on staying a few days because I sold my house downtown Orlando and I’m in the process of looking to buy some things and I ended up staying a whole month. Alberto is also amazing if you need anything they’re right there to help you with whatever you need communications awesome. Their properties are very cute and clean and safe. I would highly recommend them."

"Right in the heart of historic downtown Sanford. Short walk to Lake Monroe and all of the local amenities. Check in was a breeze and the room was tastefully designed and color coordinated very well. "I have learned a lesson, cheap does not mean good. I was not happy the moment I checked in and was told there is no front desk person after 10pm, no breakfast, no gym. The hallways smell ‘funny,’ my room smelled like it was recently sprayed for bugs. The kitchen area looks outdated, drawers were missing handles, and there was trash under my bed. Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. "

"There were small roaches all around, when we got there our room was not ready.when I complain about the 2 hours late for our new room the lady in charge was very rude in front of other customers. The officer front office was locked all the time we have to stand up and know until someone will show up, this place is ridiculous, I am giving up on Expedia twice already very disappointed, last time was in Kissime/Orlando.
Parking was ok, but one of my hubcap was taken, we have to leave a day early...
