We had an enjoyable three night stay. Friendly and helpful hosts. Our unit had a large comfortable bed, a sofa and a table and two chairs. Separate en suite shower and toilet room. Plenty of hot water. Small kitchenette with fridge, two-ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, crockery, cutlery, saucepans, frying pan and utensils. Table and two chairs outside on a small deck in a garden area. Parking right outside the unit. The Lodge is really 'hidden away' on the outskirts of Kerikeri and...

Beautiful place to stay. Immaculate room and grounds. Lovely hosts.

Super friendly host, nice accommodation

It was a lovely place and we probably had the best room at the end of the small block (additional windows to the side). The pool area was very good, although we didn’t get the opportunity to try out the pool during our short stay. Although not a problem for us or anyone using their car, it is not really walking distance from Paihia. However on the plus side it is very close to a small convenience and fish and chip shop, as well as Haruru Falls.

Treetops was all and more we had hoped it would be. BBQ on the balcony and watch the sun go down. Spacious accommodation with lots of storage to unpack. Very comfortable and well equipped. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Only down side was we could not stay longer.

I am somewhat loathed to write such a positive review of the Breakwater for fear of too many of you booking a room leaving them unavailable for when I want to return, but as people have already said - this is a beautiful place to stay. The owner/managers are an absolute delight, from allowing early check in/out and offering assistance with 'must see' activities in the local area. I had booked into a room with an uninterrupted sea view (room 10) and it was by far the most superior accommodation...

Excellent location just above the town giving sweeping view of the bay. Hosts Brita and Heinz were helpful and provided an excellent breakfast and always happy to give help/advice and tips of things to do in the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in an ideal location for the bay of islands

Amazing value for money, everything was perfect. Spacious room with an equipped kitchen and bathroom featuring a rainfall shower head. Also incredibly friendly staff.

Superb apartment with superb views. Nice clean and spacious. Good location. Nothing wrong with it. Would recommend to anyone. Only improvements that can be done is providing toiletries like tissues and a bit more frequent servicing of 2 days instead of 3 days. But overall a wonderful property to book without any hesitation.

Fabulous cooked breakfast included in the price. And biscuits with the tea and coffee.

We had a wonderful stay in Paihia at Kingsgate Autolodge. The rooms were large, clean and the bed was comfy too. The location is perfect and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here if you ever get the chance.

Lovely stay ! 5 minute walk from the main area ! Comfortable and spacious rooms with green all around as if you are in a forest ! Lovely staff at the restaurant and good breakfast too . The reception staff needs training as both the guy and the lady are slow and needed reminders for simple jobs ! Very casual behaviour at reception !

Great location, just a few minutes walk into town. The receptionist was very helpful on our arrival. It was a lovely little unit, with a patio and chairs out front. The whole site is impeccable. Unfortunately due to bad weather we didn't have the opportunity to use the pool or hut tub, but they both looked very inviting.

We have extensively travelled throughout the world and at the price point this was one of the best motels we have so far experienced. We were made welcome when we arrived about 4 hrs before official check in time and shown to our room without question The owner was very helpful and spent time answering our questions on local amenities the room was well equipped and very clean

Lovely quiet apartment just round the corner from the main Paihia town. Good beach in a few steps. Everything you could think you might need is in the apartment. Highly recommend.

A lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Great views from the spacious room. External tables could be power washed and TVs did not work well Very friendly staff and good breakfast

This place is fantastic, right across from the sea. Clean and comfortable.

Lovely stay. A great find. Quiet and well maintained. Did get the chance to use the pool. Close to the town and tourist area. Hosts provided all we needed. Would recommend.
