the staff at Aurum are genuinely lovely, super helpful, and honestly the best part of the stay. But the hotel itself? Whew. The photos online are doing some heavy lifting. The A/C barely takes the edge off the humidity, the place feels stuck in the '70’s, and breakfast is basically a scavenger hunt—if you're not there early, good luck. It'll do if you're a family on a shoestring budget, but seniors or anyone who actually values a good night's sleep in a cool room should probably keep looking.

Très bon accueil, nous avons été surclassés avec une chambre vue mer. Personnels très gentils et très agréables.

Hotel was bit old and have seen the time. We stay in exlusive room for 4 two nights and it was nice. Room was clean and very large. Very good if you traveling with kids. Breakfast was just toast, yogurt, coffee, croisant, ham and chees. Very poor like in Italy always. Dinner was better, nothing fancy but keeps you going. The worst and absolutely pure shi…t was outside disco! It keeps bouncing the base after midnight bought night so loud that my teeth almoust droped at my mouth. And we stay on the fifth floor far away…everybody’s yelling with DJ and partying. Not my cup of tea! If you don’t mind that thats fine then… Parkking was good and inside the hotel. The best part in the hotel was the beach. Nice long sandy beach with low water. Easy for the kids. Sunbeds and umbrella includes also. Without the horrible disco i would give 3,5* but disco drop the rate to 2*.

Hotellet och rummet helt ok men vi saknade pool och det var röd flagg vid havet. Hade gärna stannat fler dagar här. Lunch och middag och frukosten jättebra. trevlig personal.

La struttura presenta potenzialità che potrebbero farla decollare, la posizione, l'accesso diretto sulla spiaggia e una piscina molto bella. Attenzione ci tengo a fare una premessa le criticità che a nostro avviso abbiamo riscontrato e che cercheremo di illustrare sono solo un invito a migliorare nell'interesse degli utenti che aspettano con trepidazione una vacanza da trascorrere in serenità. Arrivati in hotel per il check-in ci siamo accorti di non avere i documenti dei nostri 2 figli e qui inizia la passione di Cristo, noi abbiamo fatto ammenda ma l'atteggiamento della direttrice non era risolutivo ma al contrario sottolineava la mancanza, poi risolta da noi con una scannerrizzazione dei documenti dei nostri ragazzi. Volevamo appoggiare le valigie in camera di mio padre che era già in hotel da qualche giorno ma la direttrice si è irrigidita e insisteva che bisognava salire dopo la pulizia della nostra camera assegnata, pet poi scoprire che era già pronta dal giorno prima del nostro arrivo. La camera si presentava piena di polvere, uno dei letti singoli presentava due materassi piccoli uno sull'altro. Il nostro trattamento era di mezza pensione colazione e cena. Ol ristorante era gedtito da personale inesperto e con scarsa igiene sia sui tavoli che in alcuni aspetti come un contenitore di plastica con cucchiai che venivano toccati da tutti. La qualità del cibo peggio dei precotti in ospedale. La colazione imbarazzante per la poca scelta e qualità, ad edempio dei cornetti.

This hotel is located in a nice beach area. It is a little dated but clean and comfortable. There is a meal plan sort of cafeteria style and the food is quite good for the price beach umbrellas are available and the beach is directly in front of the hotel. One word of caution: if you are planning to visit the nearby cemetery commemorating more than 1000 fallen Canadians as well as Australians and New Zealand soldiers in the famous battle of Ortona, Be extremely cautious about your car. Do not, do NOT under ANY circumstances leave your car unattended at the cemetery.Your car will be broken into and you will be robbed.

Nice hotel for the sea

The beaches are quite nice (not many waves but also not too deep which is good for kids but can be a bit boring for adults - eg up to the rocks my 5 year old child could stand without having her head under water). With polarised sunglasses I saw a reasonable amount of fish every time I walked to the rocks in the sea. The food is a buffet and passable but there are nicer restaurants close by to rather go to. The breakfast was very poor, no fruit or eggs. Only water or pineapple juice for cold drinks. The restaurant is only open during (short) times and they start packing up before the time is up. The staff are quite friendly. The rooms are a bit tired and don’t have accessible electricity plugs by the bed which I find old fashioned but otherwise ok and had good aircon and ok fridge. The sea views are nice. The website says it has children clubs/childcare but this is only from around 15 June to mid September so we just missed this. You get an allocated umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach but only the blue ones, not the nice big straw ones, those are 50 euros extra a day. That annoyed me as we had a more expensive sea view room and literally the week we were there no-one used any the whole time!!!. They should let hotel people use those if no-one else is. The pools are nice but only open during certain times. Overall it is nice and we would stay there again but not eat at the restaurant.
