"We stayed at Grandeau Thermal Spa Resort on the 16th–17th of May and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed overall. "Good value for $$"

"Very clean and comfortable rooms, had all we needed for cooking, impressed that a washing machine was in the bathroom too"

"Overall we were very impressed in the value for money , size of accommodation and modern feel to our apartment. Superficially the apartment was clean but when you look closer at windowsills cupboards and in microwave a lot more attention to detail was needed. But overall value for money we and the accommodation itself we were very pleasantly surprised and would return again."

"Super Lage, direkt am Lake Taupo"

"Close to town area clean ,helpful , good sized kitchen. The only complaint could be about heating. Good if there was a more efficient heater since it was a very cold night"

"Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo."

"Good place to stay"

"We had a fantastic stay at The Reef Resort in Taupō. The location right on the lakefront was beautiful, with amazing views (the sunset and Mt Ruapehu were especially pretty) and easy access to walking tracks and town. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and both the thermal plunge pool and in-room spa were a real highlight after a day exploring the area (the main pool was out of action for re-painting, however this didn't bother us and we were offered free use of a sister complex...

"The staff were very helpful and gave clear information. Room was modern and very clean with great amenities including a teapot which made me happy. Only issue was in Room 10 the shower head kept moving over to one side and needs a little maintenance. Other than that, I would stay there again. Affordable, clean, tidy and easy."
