Fantastic!!!
Fantastic location being a 2 minute walk to the city loop train line. Very clean room, hotel staff were very friendly. Would certainly stay here again if I am in Osaka.

Thank you for staying. It's a 2 minute walk Sakuranomiya Station. Just finished the renewing construction is end of March. We are welcome to stay if you back to Osaka.

Fantastic place to stay at! Easy to get to and the view of the river with sakura trees are absolutely beautiful! The hotel management were incredibly helpful and kind. They didn't really speak English but they went out of their way to try to understand us. They even had us write some words down so they could google the translation.

hotel located 3 minute walk from JR station, two station from Osaka Station where all shopping, eating are there, very convenient, a nice riverside park full of Sakura planted. Hotel is a little old in facility and arrangement but everything works as expected, I travel with my wife checked in a double room but the bed was too small (1.2M wide) for two people.

I chose the hotel as I have a meeting nearby the next day and then need to go to Kansai Airport. It is close to the train on the Osaka Loop line. The hotel is dated, and no WiFi in the room, but serves my purpose and the staff with limited English is helpful.

Room has no view. Decoration a bit old. Bathroom too small. Quadruple room is actually converted from a 1 room junior suite. Bedroom is small for 2 single beds. Living room was converted to 2 single beds. Appreciated the 2 complimentary orange juice and 2 bottled drinking water daily. Stayed there for 3 nights. Good location near to train station. And convenience store. Front desk very polite but can only converse in limited English.

right next to train station
very nice hotel, large room compared to other Japanese hotel rooms. very convenient stay; next to train station, Lawson store right outside station good for quick snacks. would stay here again - wanted to go to Osaka Castle, and this hotel made it very easy to travel.

Hotel was a very convenient 2 min walk from Sakuranomiya station on the JR Osaka Loop Line. Decor was rather tired and dated, but our room was spotlessly clean. Incredibly hard pillows. Hotel staff friendly. Very quiet neighbourhood. Not much by way of food and entertainment in the immediate vicinity, but we stumbled onto a great food district N of Temma Station (one stop anticlockwise on loop line)

Hotel is very dated but we found it comfortable and convenient. Staff didn't seem very interested, not sure how many foreign travelers stay here. We found our room very comfortable for a family of 4. Easy walk to train station that is on the Osaka Loop line and only two stops to Osaka/Umeda station. They have unplugged the wireless access points on all the floors so we had to go downstairs to access the complimentary internet.

Middle of nowhere! Old hotel. Small room is expected. But I can clean the toilet door and frequent touch area myself. The towel is black !! For the price, I believe I can pick downtown for same value

GREAT hotel to visit during the SAKURA season :)
So near the SAKURANOMIYA station that it was so accessible going around the city and the nearby cities! The view from the hotel is the KEMA Sakuranomiya park that is usually paraded with cherry blossom trees everywhere! We will surely go back for such a good experience, on top of it all, the staff were so friendly and accommodating!

The hotel is a little bit old but neat. There are no wifi and hot water in the room, however there is water dispenser on each floor. Wifi only available in the looby which is inconvenient.

Hotel exterior appearance is quite misleading the hotel old dated interior looks like back to the 60s, carpet, fixtures, beddings are worn, room is dusty and in desperate need of an update/renovation, wifi is only available in the lobby. Sleep is interrupted by thumping noise from above presumably by upstairs people late at night and early in the morning.

Hotel short walk to train station. Could see Sakura from room window. Room relatively big. But there's a trace of urine smell in the room and not too clean. Old dated. Staff nice though. Offered us umbrella as it was raining.

You get what you pay for, this room was pretty inexpensive, but the room stank of cigarettes and the bathroom stank of sewage. Also my sheets and pillowcases were stained. On top of that, it's in a red light district, which was sketchy to say the least. It is close to a train station so if you feel like slumming it for convenience, give it a go.

Conveniently located hotel with a view
This hotel is situated on the north eastern end of the sakura no miya park. The top floor restaurant has an amazing view of the canal and the park of hundreds of sakura trees that line it. At the far end of the canal, you can clearly see osaka castle. It's located a very short walk from JR loop line station sakura no miya. Hotel staff are super friendly and can understand enough english to get by. We were even able to ask them to call a couple restaurants to book some special reservations for us. Single minutes away from JR osaka station/Umeda and 10s of minutes away from access to shinsaibashi, dotonbori, nipponbashi/dendentown and namba. Osaka castle is walking distance away down the park, and the Tenma shopping arcade is train stop away on the loop line.

Affordable price, average expectation.
Less conversation/communication in English language with the staff due to language barrier. However, they will try their level best to explain & get the answer for our queries...eventhough most of the feedback will leads to negative ones. No kettle is provided...but hot water dispenser is available at each floor (we stayed on 4th floor. apparently this floor also provided with microwave in their common utilities area).

Small room but nice
It's more of a business type hotel in the business district. The hotel room we had was pretty small but the bed was comfortable and kitted out well. Nice decor. We had no wardrobe though, which was pain, but the price was good. Close to Tamachi station and the Yamanote line (Circle line). Just a 5 minute walk. Easy to get to Shibuya, Shinjuku and other major parts of the city. The staff are really nice. Some don't speak very good English but we were able to get by. I would stay here again.

Convenient hotel next to metro
On reading reviews for this hotel before booking, I thought that it would be more like a hotel for businessmen; which it was. The room decor is dated (reminded me of the 70's) but it's clean and the staff are friendly. The location is great (right next to a metro station) which is great for getting to the Shinkansen station for trips to Miyajima and Himeji. Note: this hotel doesn't have wifi.

Okay, needs major updating but serves the purpose
This is not a tourist hotel. It's not close to any tourist sites on foot that I am aware of. It is in a neighborhood where real Osaka residents live. A couple blocks away is a lovely neighborhood with great restaurants and food. The hotel is very close to the JR loop. I needed to be in this neighborhood so the hotel served its purpose for me. The rooms need to be updated and the only wifi is in the lobby, which is also in desperate need of major renovation. It took a couple night for this place to grow on me, but if I would stay here again when I return to Osaka. The people who work here are all very helpful and nice. The breakfast is in the 10th floor dining room with a great view of Osaka and the river.

Horrible experience
This was a horrible hotel. The room had a rancid stench of tobacco and felt very unclean. The wifi only worked in the lobby and even there is was a bit shaky. The hotel staff did not seem to be very friendly when we checked in. The air conditioning also seemed to make the tobacco smell even worse. We had a 3 night reservation but we left for another hotel after the first night because it was impossible to sleep in the room.
