This hotel is unrivalled value for money; providing all facilities required for a traveller, including free parking and inclusive breakfast. The only downside for a soft European like me, a characteristic of all Toyoko Inns I've stayed in, is an overly hard bed.

This property is great option around Shin Osaka station. There is a subway station very close to the station that take you to some major stations in the Osaka area like Namba for Dotonburi. The hotel was clean, quiet, and has a great healthy breakfast. Water, ice and coffee are always available. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I’m in Osaka.

Small room with just one plug socket at one side of the room. Only one of us could charge devices as a result at one time. Beds comfy but too close together in an already small room. Breakfast wasn't great. Location was excellent being just 10 mibs from Shin Osaka train station.

Overall a good cheap hotel that's a coinvent location to shin-osaka station. Although you could probably find a lot nicer hotels for a similar price. But if location is important this is a good choice.

Affordable and centrally located with free breakfast, this hotel is great value for money. The staff is very kind and helpful and the amenities are enough. My only gripe is that the bed is a bit hard and there were only two pillows on the bed.

Very convenient but make sure you exit from the correct exit at shin Osaka or else it will be a much longer walk. Otherwise if you leave from the correct one then it will be very fast and convenient. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are excellent

There are many hotels in this area, but this one is quite reasonable. A bit of walk from JR Shin Osaka Station. But it's walkable. It is actually closer from Higashi Mikuni Station (subway). Around the hotel, there are many convenience stores and restaurants. Our room was small as expected. But unexpectedly, the staff members at this hotel were friendlier than those at other fancier hotels in the area. Also, their free breakfast was healthier and tastier than other hotels in the area. Overall, good, affordable hotel!

I stayed at the Toyoko Inn-Higashi Mikuni for 11 nights, and was very satisfied. I found the property well-maintained and the room very clean and easy to move around in for a business hotel. The bathtub was medium-sized (for Japanese standards), and had a large shower head above for the "rain shower" effect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's only a 1-minute walk from the Midosuji Metro line, and about 7 minutes to the JR Kyoto Line. There are various restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in the area. I also found a good dentist, ear doctor, and eye glasses shop on the walk to JR Higashi Yodogawa station. For long term stays, they clean the room every 4 days, but leave you clean towels hanging on your door every day. There is a washer and dryer for doing laundry just off the lobby that are cheaper than an outside laundromat. The only thing that could be better is the breakfast. However, it's included with the already very reasonable price, so you don't feel like you're throwing your money away by skipping it once in a while. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Japan by myself again. By the way, if you're a yakitori fan, visit the Torikikozu shop in front of Higashi Mikuni station. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it.
