"Staff was very accommodating "

"The hotel is very interesting and right in the river. Historic building and interesting gems and artifacts throughout. Great restaurants and fun shopping. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was friendly and accommodating. She checked us in early and upgraded us to a river view. The rm was large and bed was super comfortable. One issue was the noise. Because of the historic building- you could hear the people above us walking around and you could hear the people next door."

"Just finished my second stay at this hotel. My husband and I stayed here two years ago for our honeymoon trip and my daughter and I just stayed for a girls trip. I will always choose this hotel for our stay. The staff is phenomenal, very accommodating and always checking to ensure your stay and time in Savannah is going well. The hotel is very clean, in fact there was always someone cleaning around the hotel whether idly be the lobby/social area or hallways. The hotel also offers a social event Monday- Thursday in the lobby area with free beverages and appetizers- helping guests meet others which is great. It’s always a pleasure staying here and again, the staff are absolutely wonderful making each stay even better. "

"It was pleasant, it was not the 3 star service at times, the front desk lady was a little rude when checking out, we had pre bought breakfast and they charged it and she had to make changes she seemed not happy with. I was warned to check the recipt and im glad i read that review. The hotel was in a 5 star area, the valets were super nice and very busy! Only gave 1 towel a day?! For 3 women ..i asked for more and they could not understand? Whatever it was beautiful, the breakfast was great our little server was super nice, the bar tenders were both top-notch and we truly enjoyed our stay. "

"First noticed when we parked in the garage and the outside trash was overflowing with trash on the ground. Our room was never serviced, we had to call to get fresh towels and coffee refills. Also, nobody ever took our trash (I have pictures of it all under the desk). Even the trash WE finally took to the vending room stayed there our whole stay. "

"Staff pleasant, Cleveland was very helpful! However, elevators were slow, hallways stuffy & hot. Bathroom had mold spots in shower (I went out & got bleach spray) Beds were not exceptionally comfortable & floors seemed not very clean. Average hotel if you are looking for more of a budget stay. Fairly good location within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, etc."

"Needs a serious upgrade. Booked a non smoking room and when we walked in it reeked of weed. The blow dryer made a loud crazy noise and smelled like it was on fire. The chair in the room has wires poking out that cut my husband. The USB ports were all messed up. The lady at the front desk was rude when my husband’s key would not work. Positive: the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and they have a good breakfast."

"This is a very nicely remodeled hotel near the Riverfront area. They have bikes to rent for free and a shuttle that you can take to and from the Riverfront area. The bar inside the hotel is very nice with some well thoughtout cocktail choices. We would stay here again if we are ever back in Savannah. "
