"Dilworth Inn was a very unique experience. It is a private, small, quiet hotel with all the amenities one would need. If you like the Texas history or learning about the history of a town, Gonzales is a wonderful place to visit, and the Dilworth is a great stop. "

"The first room had a live scorpion, dead roaches in air vents and dead bugs behind furniture. Next room was not too bad, a few less dead bugs behind furniture and a weird stain on one of the chairs. Wouldn’t stay here again"

"The staff were friendly and polite, which we appreciated. Unfortunately the room itself had several problems. The toilet would not flush properly, the air conditioner rattled loudly all night, and the microwave sounded like it was malfunctioning and wouldn’t even warm coffee. The bathroom door was extremely heavy and difficult to open, and there were very few outlets in the room. There was also a noticeable stain on the bedding. Overall the room needs significant maintenance and updating."

"Cockroaches in the bathroom at the hotel.. Told staff they said ahh we’ll get it cleaned up however they were everywhere around the hotel as well.. was gross.. shower curtain was ripped off the wall and was falling down so couldn’t take a shower or anything.. "

"Room was relatively clean and tidy. Place could use some repair and painting. Fine place for a fella to rest his bones or for a short work stent away for work. I wouldn't bring the kids to stay but fine for me for few nights. Staff was nice and helpful when key stopped working. "

"Several of us have stayed in Luling for over three years as we search for Missing Person Jason Landry. The staff at Best Western are always kind and accomodating. We love the facilities as well. Getting two free drinks and chips and salsa are a nice bonus each evening."

"The shower head was disgusting. Hadn’t been cleaned in years. It was covered in green gunk. There were used wash cloths hanging on the rusty shower curtain pole. The walls were covered re thin and all we could hear was crying and screaming children. There were blackout curtains but the lights on the building were so bright that when I woke up in the middle of the night I thought it was morning. "
