"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at old Mill. We were in one of the tents which have air conditioning, which was nice since it was a little warm and it was on the river driving by the other places I think we made the right choice. Dinner was fantastic My only complaint is they say it’s working ostrich farm so I was really looking forward to seeing and interacting with ostriches. They had four that you could feed mind you. They bite a little lol and 20 or so as you leave. Besides that great place"

"Wir hatten das Standardzimmer gebucht und Glück, da wir ein komplett neu renoviertes Zimmer erhalten haben. Man hat sogar noch leicht die Farbe gerochen. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die kleine Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Frühstück ist gut, insb. das Bananen- und Rosinenbrot sind lecker. Der Service war sehr nett. "Bitte auf dem Weg Richtung Weimland nicht dran vorbeifahren. Ein Juwel. Unglaublich hilfsbereites, freundliches und immer gut gelauntes Personal. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, freundlich und hell gestaltet. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfältig und ausreichend, das Abendessen mit guter Auswahl. Alles in allem wirklich weiter zu empfehlen um einen guten Aufenthalt in der Karoo zu haben. "

"La Plume was gorgeous-the best place that we stayed during our journey of the Garden Route. The suites were so nicely appointed and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious and we were disappointed that we missed dinner (it was only a 3-course meal). I loved taking a bath in the beautiful bathroom and went for a run at sunrise through the ostrich farms. It’s only about a half hour from Cango Caves. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.
