"The room looked like it had recently been remodeled, and was clean. They don't do breakfast anymore, but they had a coffee station. Pool was not open while I was there not sure why. Motel was very close to restaurants and not far from the main strip."

"The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful."

"I absolutely loved this hotel. It was very clean. Most hotels at this age/price tend to have some mold around the outside corners of the shower by the bathroom door. None of that here. Everything felt very clean in the room as well as the breakfast area. The sweet woman who worked in the breakfast area was so very kind and helpful! "We were concerned with several bad review about staying at this hotel. However, we had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, bed comfortable, Ellen’s staff, served breakfast continental style and a great stay; reasonable price. The only somewhat challenge to the stay was the steep parking lot. We plan to return later this fall for another stay."
