The hallways were grimy, the shade on the window was tied closed so couldn’t see outside if you wanted to, although there was tea/coffee set up-only decaf was available and the milk pods were curdled. "The room was away from the busy street, so it was very quiet. The picture of the place was misleading... It was a picture of a picture on the wall. Our main complaint is that it was advertised as including breakfast. But 2 days before arrival, we got a message that because of costs, breakfast is not served. No offer was made to reduce the price."

"We stayed for three nights at Marlborough House in September. We found the entire place to be very fresh and well maintained. It had a feeling of being recently renovated that was very enjoyable. The single room was spacious with a table, desk and cupboard. The bathroom was small with no place to put your things around the sink, as is very common in England and Europe. "What an adorable place Milka's is 100%. Very simple, perfect for the price, and value. And the owners/mgmt. are just terrific. They were very welcoming and made ya feel a part of the family from the first minute. Big recommend!"
