"This is a lovely property with many extras. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which had a small kitchenette and a murphy bed in the expansive common area - grandson opted to sleep on the leather sofa. Bed in bedroom was super comfy. Our view was spectacular. We could see 5 mountains! Hot tub was nice and toasty. The jar of marshmallows for fire pit was a nice touch."

"Sunday River is a cozy, friendly place to stay. The staff was helpful and attentive. I had the pool, hot tubs and gym all to myself. The rooms and appliances are dated yet functional. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was pleasant."

"The rooms were very spacious, clean, and well maintained. Close to plenty of hiking trails. We stayed one night before starting our hiking and camping weekend but decided to forego our ovenight camping plans and ended up booking another night at the hotel instead! The staff was wonderful, kind, and genuinely pleased to accommodate us. Would definitely stay again."

"Good price, quiet property. They do state somewhere in their web page that they're no longer a bed and breakfast, it would be better to really put that up front, perhaps take the bed and breakfast sign down from inside the kitchen. It was nice to have tea and coffee, thank you. Surprising, but not totally unusual in this day and age to not see a single person from the property, that all contact was done via notes."

"This is a very small and intimate B & B: well-kept and with on-top-of-it innkeepers. My room was comfortable, attractive, had everything I needed - and more than I needed. The house was built in 1820, so you need to love old places; they have warmth and personality. If you prefer futuristic decor, I suppose you would prefer a large hotel chain."
