"Amazing stay we had."

"The breakfast (Japanese crusine with normal is surprising delicious and tasty"

"Very spacious, lovely modern decor, so you get both a lovely 5 star stay but being able to enjoy the old town once you step out. Staff are friendly, able to tell you what are open for the night on a map (as it was a public holiday when we went). The breakfast is also worth it (just 1000yen pp?), not the type with luxurious ingredients but it was all nicely laid out and a very comfy cafe which you can easily spend half a morning there."

"PERFECT location in old town. Quiet and lovely house. Very spacious & well equiped. Super clean"

"This was a beautiful and calm space, with plenty of room for two couples to stay together. An absolute delight to have the bathing room. Located right in the old area of the town"

"Wir waren im April 22 für sehr schöne 5 Tage in diesem Haus. Das Kokoro bietet die fast einmalige Gelegenheit, in einem traditionellen alten japanischen Haus zu leben. Im Obergeschoss sind Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer, Ankleide, Balkon und Toilette. Im Ergeschoss wird gefrühstückt und befindet sich das Badezimmer mit grosser Holzbadewanne. "Great staff, easy check-in, comfy spacious room (with harbour view), pretty good westarn breakfast. Good value."

"A beautiful and modern hotel very close to all the attractions in Matsuyama. Great service, clean and specious! 7th and 8th floor of a large shopping plaza where you will find everything you need!"

"Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful location, easy to access. Lovely room"

"very very good hotel"

"The host was amazing. Friendly, generous and genuinely happy to have us stay. The location of the small village of only Japanese people was amazing. Google Translate, a smile and patience was required to communicate with the locals who were all very welcoming. It was very authentic ryokan. "

"Delicious breakfasts and dinner. Kind, friendly staff. Amazing spa bath and spacious living quarters just a short walk to Dogo Onsen. It was a lovely and relaxing experience. I would most definitely stay here again."

"Excellent friendly helpful staff. Japanese breakfast excellent. We had great, spacious, room with private spring water supply and outside balcony area. Restaurants and shops nearby with tram transport."

"staffs are kind, and room is clean. Hotel's location is neared by dogo onsen so I could travel comfortly"

"駐車場は親切に案内していただいてとても助かりました。ありがとうございました。立地がよく、電車利用にとても便利でした。 フロント受付にて、何も案内していただけなかったのが残念です。エレベーターの乗り方、アメニティについて、何階なのか、朝食について。なんだかんだ分かりますが、他のホテルでは丁寧に案内してもらえる為、何のためのフロントなのかなと感じました。 これならセルフと何も変わりませんね。"

"I’ve stayed here multiple times when it was called the Sunshine Resort. Recently, they renovated this property and it is back to its original splendor. Definitely book an executive level room with the beach view and outdoor tub if you can. There is a free drink and appetizer lounge for executive level room customers and other perks. Ride the bikes around the island. Beautiful property and surroundings. "

"Very nice ryokan near shopping, tourist spots, and next to Dogo Onsen."
