"The hotel itself is nice, security fence and gates around property to help protect your vehicle. The area around it has really been run down, homeless peeps hiding in the shadows everywhere. A 16% Tax was added to the bill as a Hotel Tax in a state that has No state tax, very disappointing, this hotel is just over the river from WA. State, next time we’ll book on WA. "Such charm in this hotel. Over 100 years old but that is what makes it great! The lobby, the breakfast, the rooms are comforting. Walking distance to downtown and piers. Take the Link to and from airport for $6. All service people were friendly and helpful. Empty lot across the street was gross and filled with trash and homeless people at night could be heard shouting all 3 nights(2am) I was there. I would totally stay there again though. "
