We recently stayed at Angel House Eco Villa, and it was the perfect peaceful retreat just 10-15 minutes by car or motorbike from the center of Ubud. Fantastic stay, the hotel has a lot of nice individual touches. Was very welcoming for children with a lot of activities.

We found elephant lodge at the last minute and while we normally dont go to animal parks this seemed different so we tried - we had the park view room overlooking the elephants area , sitting on our big balcony was a treat the children were so excited. And then the elephants pick you up from the room to go to dinner! Once in a lifetime amazing experience- super top quality resort , very nicely organised . Well done to the whole team there and thanks for a wonderful experience.

We loved Toyabali. It was so tranquil and relaxing. If you are a party person it's not for you but if you're looking for peace and relaxation it certainly is. The host Ibu Made organised a day tour for us and came along as our guide, she also taxied us to Jemeluk( Amed) for excellent snorkeling. The US Liberty shipwreck is literally just off the beach and is a diving/snorkeling destination. We snorkeled it 3 times but the weather was a bit windy while we were there making access to the sea a bit...

Really nice, very spacious property with a large (30m) shared pool. It is some way out of Sanur but a taxi is less than £3 each way (use Grab app). Staff are incredibly helpful and will serve breakfast or any other meals for a very reasonable cost and do all washing up etc. Local beach is not for swimming in but makes for a nice walk into the port.

I've visited over 30 countries and stayed in well over 150 hotels and the Viceroy is my favorite! Picturesque location, stunning jungle backdrop, attentive but not intrusive staff, exquisite food, the list of "positives" is truly endless. Beautiful, peaceful hotel in a great location, just a short walk from all the hustle and bustle, while still feeling like a quiet escape. It’s close to everything you need, and the pool area was absolutely beautiful. Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was beautiful! They couldn't do enough for you and all the staff treated us like royalty. Shuttle/private car to Ubud centre was really handy. Experience team made such an effort to make our honeymoon special with little extras to make it special Pool was a little chilly but that Is the only thing I can think of that wasn't perfect!

Great location within easy access to the airport. Easy check-in. Clean and spacious room. Good air-con. Clean and well-presented throw-out our stay. The food was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. The quiet adults only pool was lovely and peaceful and we were well looked after by their team of staff.
