"The parking was fine, with enough space and close to the room. The room was ok, floor was not clean enough. Not shampoo or conditioner in the shower. The pool was available, but no towels were available. The hot tub was not working which was quite disappointing."

"I was very happy with Steinbeck Lodge. I appreciated the pull out desk area and convenient media center with assorted outlets. The coffee machine is good, but does not stop at one cup if you put any extra water in it. It might be nice to have a signs that says to limit the water input to only one cup, even if you plan to make 2 cups. This way the cup won’t overflow. I would stay there again and did appreciate the careful thought that went into this place."

"I would say that you need more than two pillows going forward. Some areas need updating like the bathroom sink. The floors were pretty dirty and looks like they were not cleaned at all. Not bad if you’re looking for a last-minute place to crash."

"The property is well maintained, and is located just off route 101. There is a gas station and restaurant close to the property, and shopping nearby. This is a great motel/hotel if you are travelling through the area. The room was very clean, and the king size bed was quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"The rooms are small. One of the two double beds was up against the AC unit. The shower was worn and moldy. Pillows were lumpy, and each person gets one. Only two small bath towels per room, so you have to ask for more. It was better than camping at least, and the best motel in King City."

"We were not able to use the pool. The staff told us that the water pump is not working. We almost got burned in the shower. My wife was in the shower when the water became very hot. The staff told us that the boiler broke down and they turned off the cold water. When it is my turn to take the shower, there is no hot water at all and I took the shower using freezing cold water.
