Podstine Hotel

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel Podstine during our honeymoon and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The included breakfast was one of the highlights. There was a great selection, including some really unique and interesting options that went well beyond the typical hotel breakfast. The restaurant on site was also excellent, which made it really convenient to have a great meal without having to go anywhere. Our room situation had a bit of a mishap due to an Expedia booking error, which was completely outside of Podstine’s control. That said, the staff went above and beyond to make it right and gave us two complimentary 30 minute massages. We really appreciated how they handled the situation. The private beach is absolutely beautiful and the swimming is fantastic. The hotel is also close enough to the Old Town that you can easily walk there, while still feeling peaceful and removed from the busier areas. We stayed in the annex and had an incredible ocean view from our balcony. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and they even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine for our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, Podstine made our honeymoon in Hvar even more special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Good good, good facilities. A bit of extra thought into the deco would be good. Most staff lovely, some occasionally rude especially at the bar outside in the trees but the hotel and pool side staff were really lovely."

"Hotel has lovely facilities. Rooms were nice but nothing fancy. What makes this place is the lovely grounds, pool, and restaurant area. There are lots of lounges, both around the pool and at the beach. A pleasant walk into Stari Grad town, 10-15 mins. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. Free exercise class just OK. Hot tubs need improvement. Overall, this place is a lovely resort and I recommend it."

"Lovely, small-ish, first class hotel. An easy walk into Hvar town but just far enough away from the bustle. Fantastic pool area. Highly recommend the restaurant for dinner; top-notch, well-priced, quiet, with a phenomenal sea view. Professional staff ready to assist with everything."

"Amazing hotel! The best of all of our trip. Beautiful location next to a beach easy to reach just don’t use Google Maps and go up the long flight of stairs from the ferry area. Keep going down to the very end of the path and there are shorter stairs to climb. Reception was so kind, friendly and helpful. He helped made our stay wonderful. Beds were comfortable and rooms nice and roomy. Sister privileges with Ariana hotel so you can use their beautiful pool and fitness areas. Go upstairs to the rooftop bar and watch the sunset over Hvar. It was magical! Also go eat dinner at Dva Ribara! Unforgettable meal one of the best in my life !!"

"Really well located hotel in the centre of Bol overlooking the sea. Lovely pool and sun-beds were very comfortable. Easy walk to a range of fabulous beaches and minutes on foot to bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is super clean and smells really lovely - they use an amazing scent in the corridors. The staff are incredibly helpful and patient."
