"The genuine warmth of the hostess and her helpfulness with information. The location at the head? of the square. It's an excellent place to stay a couple of nights to explore the surrounds. The food and wines are good and reasonably priced. There's very little vehicular traffic. The apartment is well renovated. "
"We had a great time staying at Marfisa. Rooms had a nice and modern setup. Pool access was fantastic and dining option was good to have. They welcome guests with the bottle of wine from their own winery- which was a nice gesture. Spa experience was also nice and relaxing.

Camere in palazzo antico appena ristrutturato con tutti i comfort ma con gusto retrò: pieno di quadri ed arredamenti d’antiquariato. Personale estremamente cortese e colazione ricca di prodotti locali biologici e buoni! Ripeto, consigliatissimo, soprattutto per chi vuole concedersi una pausa rilassante in coppia."

"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. "Spectacular 200 year old stone building with an amazing view. Beautiful well equipped and spacious apartment. The only issue was we are travelling by bicycle and the road up to the accommodation was greater than 12% grade and all gravel. Very difficult to get to. For other cyclists know ahead of time that you have a significant uphill push but worth it when you get to the top."
