The hotel itself also had an unpleasant smell throughout. The room was decent at first glance, and the sheets, pillows, and towels appeared clean, but I noticed the bedsheet wasn’t fully pulled down and there appeared to be dried blood near the bottom edge of the bed, which was really gross and concerning. "The hotel served our purpose of a quick stop over for the night. For a non smoking facility, the 3rd floor reeked of cigarettes. By the morning it smelled like burnt popcorn due to the guests cooking in their rooms. The bed was comfortable and the a/c seemed fairly new. It is right on the highway so a little noisy."

"Although the room was technically clean, it left a lot to be desired. When we checked in, the desk staff member said how we got the best, quietest room in the whole hotel. It was not in the main hotel building, it was outside and looked like a remodeled pool shack. First, it took us a few minutes to get in the room because we couldn't get the handle to work (the desk staff member warned us to "lift" the handle because there's something wrong with it). So much for being quiet, there were 3 adults...

"We loved this hotel, it was so unique in that it looked like we were outside yet it was inside. The rooms were large with a full kitchen. The breakfast was more personalized than your average hotel tiny buffet. My only complaint was the tv’s were hard to work but the staff came right away to help."

I called the hotel reception well in advance, and I requested for the cancellation/rescheduling our stay for the next day, but the hotel customer service guy told me that since I booked the hotel through Expedia, my hotel booking can not be refunded or rescheduled. "The staff was as helpful as they could be. 1st our room didn’t have a trash can. 2nd the fold out couch mattress had springs sticking out of the mattress. 3rd the hot water for the shower only got to warm and the control handle is wrong. When put to hot the water is cold and when put to put it’s cold. The middle was warm. 4th Bathroom door would not shut and lock. 5th the hot tub is out of order. 6th the pool water was cold even though it’s indoor. Overall for $180/night this is the worst hotel...
