"Upon arrival the staff at reception was warm and welcoming although when we checked into our room I was far from impressed. Our towels were dirty but had been folded in a way to try and disguise the dirtiness. The bed covers and sheets had stains on them which was appalling and the hot water didn’t work in our room. It says it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel but honestly wouldn’t go past a 1 star. Very disappointed. "

"Unterkunft mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern. Im Prinzip ein nettes Motor Inn, benötigt jedoch dringend ein Make-Over in Form von neuen Möbeln, z.B. Sessel sind alt und verschmutzt, und Ausstattung Bad. Teppich wurde nie gesaugt und war fleckig und beschädigt. Bad war sauber, die Ausstattung wirkt jedoch alt. Positiv: es gab immer frische, saubere Handtücher und auch die Bettwäsche war immer sauber. Der Müll wurde täglich entleert. Kaffee, Tee, Kekse regelmäßig nachgefüllt plus; es gab frische Milch...

"No email response on early check in request - door locked and only able to get in within 2-5pm. Room was located 3 metres from reception so was v noisy with guests arriving/leaving. No physical keys provided - access by electronic keypad - due to a power outage I was unable to access the hotel - this is ridiculous. I had to bang on windows until another guest opened the door for me during a storm event. No communication from the hotel during or after. This is not acceptable. "

"I reckon every time house keeping comes in they should replace towels and sheets , as we stayed for more then 3 nights and noticed the first time they came in they used the same sheets. We knew it was the same sheets because we took them off the first night and left it on the floor and we came back and noticed the same sheets were on the bed. Besides that we enjoyed our stay staff were very friendly and welcoming, Will definitely be back in the future. "

"A box of tissues would be handy. As would a face cloth. But most ESSENTIAL: indicate if the accommodation requires stair access - not everyone has full capability especially with bags/luggage."
