"Extremely comfortable stay with gorgeous view of the mountains. Staff were very helpful. However, there was a large touring group in the hotel and our left luggage was mixed up with theirs and it was a mess. The baggage tag did not have the number of baggages and we had to drive back to collect one. Thank goodness that we remembered in time and didn’t drive far."

"Everything was amazing at the hotel. The staff was so helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable. The only suggestion for improvement that I have is to upgrade the toilets. They were kind of disgusting to look at."

I had one of the best massages I have ever had at the spa. The restaurant had great food and the morning buffet had a lot of variety. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. "The staff at Hotel Vajra are lovely....helpful, friendly and full of advice. The food is fine, with a good buffet style breakfast and eggs cooked to order. The garden setting gives some tranquillity amid the very busy Kathmandu streets, and the craftsmanship and historic feel to the hotel are highlights. Second time I have visited this hotel -and I would recommend it to others."

"We stayed in the suite 902. The wifi did not work for most of our stay. The electric outlets are so loose your charger does not stay in the wall you have to prop up the bottom of the charger with a book or glass to keep it from falling out of the socket. The light switches are in odd locations, for example to turn on the bathroom light you have to go to the far side of the room to a group of switches by the bedside and turn on all lights. The coffee offered in the room was nescafe packets. ...
