However, there were a few weird / uncomfortable things about the hotel: - one of the ceiling/wall lights in the room literally had no switch to turn it off and I had to call the technician to come and disable it - there was no conditioner but there was shampoo (expected better from a 4-star) - restaurant was pricey and food was not good at all - location was kind of far from central Yogyakarta activities and...

"I booked based on the great reviews but wasn't as impressed as I could be. I switched to another hotel for the next day and am much happier. I had a private room and once you are paying double you can get something nicer and way bigger in the area. I had to leave mainly because the wifi was too slow to make calls or work. The shower I used was only trickling and could barely rinse off if using warm water. The windows room was nearly useless and the fan in it constantly ran and was noisy. ...

"Room is clean, has good space and nice wood floor. The drawback is at the bathroom. It is small and out-dated. "

"I was disappointed for the housekeeping to throw my face soap yo the dustbin. They should have known that they can not throw anything except what it is inside the dustbin. First time that I knew, I complained to the receptionist but slow response until I called them again. Room and condition is OK but I feel insecure if they can throw everything outside dustbin with any assumption. I will not stay in this hotel again."

"I love the place, really! But the staff and breakfast was disappointing. I wanted to have a Cappuccino and she told me that she was alone and the other will come at 10 am. But she has time to play with her mobile phone all the time. Well, it was breakfast time. Suppose to have Tea and any kind of coffee ready during the time. But the property is awesome. Quite and antique."
