"Lovely and modern hotel set in an old stone building. Very central and close to major sites. Great and attentive staff. Breakfast was very good. Open wine bar cart in the lounge/library area was a really nice touch. Hotel itself is a nice place to hang out. I didn’t go to the bar or do any of the wine tastings but wish I had. Stayed 4 nights. Would definitely come back."

"The perfect place to stay. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. We arrived very late and they went out of their way to take care of us. The hotel is located in a great central location. Roof-top pool has beautiful views of the mountains and city below. Breakfast was Fantastic. Would stay there again without question."

"We loved the location and the friendly atmosphere of the Singular. The breakfast menu included plenty of delicious foods and fruit. The drinks offered at the rooftop bar were awesome. Our only complaint was that the hot water proved difficult to regulate in the shower. "

"A beautful small castle with bespoke charm. You really experienced all the trappings of its heritage. Absoultely gorgeous! A fantastic location set amoungst a huge range of eclectic cafes, bars and restaurants. Close to the funicular and cable car entrance. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Loveliest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. So different to the standard formula hotels. A once in a lifetime experience . 👍🙂"

"Hears fighting/glass breaking and yelling outside of hotel at night. Room was fine but loud from road outside the window. Many other hotels in the area to stay. "

"The hotel has a lovely old world charm about it. The staff are warm and friendly. The hotel is in a good location downtown. However the bathroom was extremely small 1.5m X 1.5m which is a little bit inconvenient especially in the shower cubicle. It appears all the rooms open out onto or are above the cafe on ground floor. From 8pm to 8am the rooms are very quiet but the chatter and chair moving is constant from the cafe and can be a bit annoying if in your room during the day. The breakfast was...

"Unfortunately I had a very distressing arrival but yhe hotel staff were fabulous, so kind and helpfuland helped me the best the could at the time, Francis and Nicholas you really are the best. The rooms was very clean although the shower could have had better water flow. I had one night that was fairly noisy until very early in the morning but the other nights were what you would expect staying in the centre of town. Plenty of good restaurants close by and very easy to get to main tourist...
