Hacienda Cusin

This hotel was a fantastic find and an ideal end to our 4 week holiday before we fly back to the UK. This is a tranquil haven with fabulous friendly staff, wonderful food that is cultivated in their garden and lovely gardens to walk around. We took the opportunity to ride horses around the locality from the stables which was so pleasurable. Well-schooled horses for us as less experienced riders with views across the valleys just breathtaking. We loved the fires lit for us in the hotel and our...

Best hotel in the Otavalo area, with an outstanding view and a very caring service. The fireplace was a particularly nice touch that you don't often find in hotels. While the location and the staff cannot be faulted, the hotel clearly need some renovations in the spa and common areas. Also the rooms could do with a bit more equipment (although the staff did provide everything we asked for). The two local guardian dogs Mia and Tia are incredibly friendly, and the surrounding area is very nice...

Unfortunately there was an issue with their booking system and, although hotels, com showed that they had 3 nights free, they contacted me the morning of my stay to say they could only accommodate me for 2 nights, and I had to move for that last night, which was a bit annoying. But, saying that, the hotel was very comfortable for those 2 nights, quiet and breakfast was very tasty. And the room was very clean.
