Very nice property in a quiet area. Few nice bakeries around.

I booked this stay as a gift to my wife, as it sounds truly idyllic, and the reality was as I stated "better than I could have hoped" This is a truly stunning hotel, with beautiful spotless rooms,fresh luxurious clean linen and towels, hot water roomy shower and comfortable bed, tea/coffee and an enormously welcoming host. Such a great find for the last night of our road trip- the apartment was spotless and so well designed. Our son loved the garden and we enjoyed the peaceful balcony and the beautiful surroundings. The perfect place for a family stay only 35minutes drive from Le Shuttle.

Beautiful old house, tastefully decorated. Great location near to the canal and town centre. Kind owners who even booked a table for us for dinner in an excellent brasserie. Peaceful night’s sleep before driving to the tunnel.

Absolutely stunning! We loved staying here, it was the perfect place to relax after a busy city break. The property and grounds are beautiful, outside table and chairs to enjoy a picnic, perfect for a pet.

It's hard to give a big review as it was only an overnight stopover but everything was good. We didn't have the breakfast as there was a very large boulangerie next door with such an amazing selection - I had to go there!

Fantastic hotel with excellent service

We had searched for a good hotel within an hour of Calais and were not disappointed: we were made most welcome having booked for one night en route to Nice. The environment is interesting, the hotel clean and the grounds tidy and well kept. Our room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was fine with separate bath and shower. The room was immaculate, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we parked right outside the hotel entrance. All in all the perfect place to spend the night after the long drive from the South of France.

This is a fantastic place to stay prior to an early morning channel crossing. The hotel really is lovely, as are the reception staff. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable, and the hotel parking at the rear is very convenient. We chose not to eat/drink at the hotel and instead walked into the town. It's a fair walk to the centre, but it's worth it as there are plenty of lively bars and large selection of restaurants. We had a great final night before coming home to the UK.

Very welcoming check-in. The hotel is quietly situated with most rooms in cottages in the grounds of the main house (very short distance across the car park). The hotel is scrupulously clean and tidy. Restaurant has very pleasant views over open countryside. Food is excellent both for variety and quality. We would certainly use it again
