Kawah Putih(white crater) - Indonesia, west jawa, Bandung
An attraction 50km from Bandung. However need 2 hrs to reach there.
Kawah Putih crater lake represents a relatively stable volcanic system with no records of significant activity since around 1600.
The lake is said to have been discovered in 1837 by Dr Franz Wilhelm Junghuhn, a German botanist.

"Overall, our stay was good. The staff could speak English, and were very helpful, helping us with directions, as well as problems with our Grab car. We were also given free bottles of water each day and a decent Indonesian breakfast. The room was basic, but had a large bed which was clean and comfortable. There is an open-plan shopping mall about 10 minutes walk away, which had a large supermarket and lots of eateries. "
