"In my experience traveling twice yearly from the north to Florida and back, this Fairfield hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel and our room both were very clean and fresh feeling. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a lovely walk-in shower, comfortable beds and a large screen TV which we were easily able to hook up to our computer. Breakfast was very good too. We'll be back."

"The staff were so welcoming, kind, friendly and always willing to help. The food was good- my kids weren’t fans but they are so picky!! lol The room was clean and spacious! Our only complaint would be the maintenance for our room. The TV didn’t work, the blind was broken, the lock on the door didn’t work AT ALL, and the gap between the floor and the bottom of the door was about 2 inch- you can see under it very very easily. Maintenance clearly knew about the blind because he stopped my husband...

"Room was dirty, old, multiple items not working or faulty. Conveniently no one at front desk for check out. Sign says leave room key in bowl no receipt can be printed. Free breakfast not horrible could have used juices. "

"The Travelodge by Wyndham Santee was just what we needed. We were in town for a pre-wedding gathering and a wedding the next day. The location was great and also made for the shortest travel time for returning home. The bed was very comfortable. The major negative was that the a/c was off when we arrived and with temperatures in the upper 80s-mid 90s, it took a very long time to cool off. "This is a roach motel masquerading as a hotel. Found a cockroach and a cockroach roach egg. The mattresses were old and lumpy. Not all of the towels were clean. The breakfast was bland and tasteless. Go to a super8 and save a little money the quality will be same, but likely better."

"They rent to people who don't have a home; there should be a difference for people who are homeless and those who are traveling; I felt unsafe; the room needs repair, and the table and chairs were ones from a house where you have a small table and chairs that don't match; the towels need to be replaced; they are faded, or unwashed; my sheet was dirty at the feet; the motel needs to be updated; people were out talking in front of the door; it doesn't look like what they showed online. "I love the availability to book and the hostess’s introductory greeting upon our arrival. The room was nice and clean but there a gnat on the sheets when we flipped the sheets back to get in bed. There was mildew around the window seals and without the air the room caused nasal stuffiness from the mildew."

"The room key had to be redone every day. Also room had large portion of room by window ac that was soaked with water and I couldn’t use. Breakfast good with eggs but needed bacon that wasn’t crumbled."
