"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. "Delightful hotel with wonderful breakfast. Beautiful period decorations combined with modern, spacious bathroom. Friendly, helpful and communicative host. Great location."

"The B&B is 15-20 minutes by foot away from the city centre, public transport is available close by. We enjoyed the private atmosphere and the quirky/eclectic interior design, which gives the place a special atmosphere. Breakfast was great, with several (continental European / Frech) options. Yves was a great host, as Chantal was out. One piece of advice: Inform the hosts in advance of the time of arrival, as we had to wait a bit "

"Lovely welcome and stay. Breakfast was continental and delicious. Excellent location, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of town, train station that takes you into Nantes within 30 minutes. Lovely restaurants in town. Would visit again and recommend. "

"I was surprised by the elegance and sophistication of the chambre/room that I was given. The bath alone was beyond my expectation. The very friendly and helpful Owner, Norse, made sure I had everything that I required. If you have never stayed in a Chàteau, for the price I suggest Château de la Grand'Cour. It is exceptional!"
