Caravan Parks in Pays de Château-Gontier

At first there was a bit of a mixup regarding accommodation but the owner went out of her way to rectify the situation & was more than helpful. Had a very nice meal at a local restaurant Contine. The breakfast which was included was very good with home made preserves etc. Parking on the street wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend staying in this beautiful historic small chateau. Nice space made for the guests. The room and separate private bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The property is set in a nice setting and the owners were pleasant, especially Pierre.

This Hotel is well situated for a walk into town and whilst it does not have a restaurant there are several within a few hundred yards. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and on our visit we were given a good breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is plenty of parking within the walled grounds but we were pleased to be given secure cycle storage as we were touring along the Mayenne river.

We had a wonderful stay at La Brauderie, the caravan/ Shepherds Hut was superb with an idyllic location and Julie was a superb host. Breakfast was excellent and very French! We only stayed one night and wished it was longer and we hope to return.

Lovely 15th century farm house with all the charm that comes with it. Great indoor pool and peaceful setting. The hosts were great and very welcoming. Perfect!

Lovely family run property. We felt right at home, it was so peaceful and the pool was excellent! We hope to return in the future, all the family we met were lovely ☺️

Kitchen was very well equipped. Shower was excellent and whole place was very clean, bed was comfy.

Lovely place to stay. Eric was very friendly and accommodating. We were very well looked after. Two fresh tasty local breakfasts started our day and a perfectly chilled bottle of wine finished our Saturday evening
