"The place is perfect…Very cute…Our suite was plenty big for the 2 of us… The only negative was the check in procedure. It’s all thru ur phones and because we booked thru Expedia we were not informed how to get in our room.Luckily someone was still on the property and helped us by giving us a # to call. I’ve received Emails from other hotels before check in with instructions so it was odd that they didn’t reach out that way."

"This was our first stay in DC and it was so nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. The Fire pits outside were so relaxing to sit by at the end of the day. Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to any need we might have. Would definitely stay here again. The Lodge is centrally located so made it easy to get around Door County quickly."

"Very nice resort! You are on the water and can see Lake Michigan from almost every room balcony or patio! Staff was knowledgeable about the area for food and excursions. Quiet, clean, relaxing, and awesome private beach! Free breakfast had a decent selection to get your day started. Nice indoor pool with hot tub. Great for families with kids or couples that don’t want to be in the center of the “party crowd” but you are literally minutes away from the very highly populated tourist areas. With...

"Nice property for our last minute trip. It met all of our basic needs. We were able to walk to breakfast, which was a 15 minute walk. Comfortable bed which is most important. My only negative was that the bath towels need to be replaced desperately. Otherwise good experience."

"This was such a fabulous little property run by the sweetest family. We had a wonderful time and loved the location. Goose and family were extremely helpful and so accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend trying out goose and twigs for your trip to Sister Bay. You are right around the corner from all of the action but just removed enough from the main street that the property is quiet."

"Staff goes out of their way for the customer. Pool was nice and surprisingly not busy. Restaurant on site was very good and so was the complimentary breakfast. Will definitely stay there our next trip."
