"We had a mixed experience during our 5-day stay. Elizabet, who was there every morning at breakfast except for our last day (May 26), was absolutely amazing. She always greeted us warmly, checked on us, asked if we needed anything, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She was one of the highlights of our stay and truly provided excellent customer service. On the other hand, the older lady with glasses at the front desk was not very friendly. Whenever we asked about using the bikes or paddle boards, she would give us unpleasant looks and made us feel like we were asking stupid questions. We felt judged and uncomfortable interacting with her, which was disappointing. When you're paying for a 5-day stay at a hotel that isn’t cheap, you expect to feel welcomed and comfortable asking questions about amenities that are included with your stay. Overall, Elizabet made a wonderful impression, but the front desk experience took away from what could have been a much better stay."

"Outdoor pool was closed for most of our stay. The Rose was closed to us as well for a private event. This is the second time staying the rose has been closed. The restaurant needs upgrading. The bar is way too small especially when weather is not great. They need more one TV in the restaurant. The TVs need mounted on the wall. not a tv you roll in out that only one side of the bar can see. They also need some music in there. The seating needs upgraded as well. They have a big area for seating that could be used more efficient and accommodate guests! Clearly guests like the bar it’s packed most times so make it bigger or have more than one!"

"When we arrived, we were able to check in early; which was nice. Had a Jr. Suite. It was Memorial day weekend so we paid a lot more than it was worth. We Got to our room, the door stuck and was difficult to push open. The room was about 700 sq ft. Unfortunately, the TV in the living area didn't work. The carpet was a bit sticky. Halfway through our stay, the lights in the kitchenette area stopped working. I understand people love their pets and it's great that hotels recognize it; however, it's my opinion that people with pets should be housed in a specific part of the hotel. The beach access was good. The pool was also good but there was so many people the water was rather cloudy most of the time. Being that it is a Hilton hotel and rated "excellent" you'd expect the rooms to live up to the lobby area and be really nice. I was a little disappointed because we spent a hefty sum and felt like everything was overpriced, everywhere. They didn't even provide a bottle of water. The parking lot was small and seemed quite cramped. One would think parking would not cost $15 per night when you pay so much to stay. There certainly wasn't space for the number of rooms. Other then the negative, we still had a nice time with family."
