They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The estate itself is the most beautiful property, with lush greenery and fairytale-like ambience. "Volpaia was a great experience. Staying in a small medieval village was very charming. The interior temp was very comfortable even in June. Max temp outside was 82F but inside felt like 76F with evening cooling down to 70. Not humid. Several dining choices from home-cooking to formal. Centrally located to other towns in the. Chianti region. Staff were great with excellent service and communication. "

"Truly remarkable experience in an 800 year old castle. The grounds are beautiful and include olive trees on the farm. Great views. Quaint experience with the owners who run the castle as a bed and breakfast. Our suite easily accommodated our family of five. We are grateful for the intimate breakfast the following morning. Nice food options and music on specific days Clean Cabins If you have not booked shuttle from the Figline station to this place- you may have a hard time getting a taxi from the station. I recommend to plan ahead for the commute from the train station to this property."
