"This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome "

"Slightly quirky place. Some bits need upgrading. Curtains were hanging off a bit. No restaurant was open in the actual hotel. Had to walk down to golf club. Had to pay 25 euro to use swimming pool. My kids liked using the golf range, putting green and practice area. Club was very kind and let them use clubs for free. Very reasonable 2 euro for 20 balls. Amazing setting. Would have liked to explore more. Breakfast was good. "

"Really well appointed and spacious apartment in gorgeous village of Smartno. Everything you could need and everything very close by in terms of food and drink options. Buffet breakfast was provided at a premises just around the corner. Comfy big bed."

"I didnt like the bed bugs, or how the owner, rather than dealing with them and refunding, instead claimed i was lying, then that i brought them (this was my first hotel after coming from my home) refused to refund and made me crawl through hoops with expedia to resolve. Thankfully i had kept my luggage closed the first night, and was able to heat treat it upon booking to another hotel in the area after checking out immediately..."

"Unfortunately, the space was not clean, I did not feel comfortable and welcome. The cushions on the chairs on the balcony were completely wet. The room is oriented and only 2-3 meters away from the main road on which, among other things, trucks drive, and the doors do not provide any sound insulation. The price far exceeds the type of accommodation and service. I'm sorry, but this is real right now and what I experienced."
