"Car parking excellent, the concierge Billy was excellent, enthusiastic and helpful and our room was ready early so great start. It was raining heavily so we popped back to the hotel at 3.30pm to dry off and grab a glass of wine - sorry the bar was shut - so I walked to a supermarket in the rain. Later after eating elsewhere we decided to go back to the hotel for a night cap - the bar was shut - it was 9.15pm. The extra star gained by Billy was more than cancelled by the 'can't do' attitude at reception re the bar. We also had to wait at breakfast. It is well located, comfortable and smart but the strange bar hours would stop me booking again."

"Wonderful helpful and friendly staff. Immaculate room. Great restaurant. Location was more difficult to access the Port than we expected. The trail was not as easy as we thought although we walked it down to the port. . Rita was very helpful and picked us up from the port one night, the other two nights we took a taxi. "

"The whole stay was wonderful. Exceeded expectations in every way. Food was amazing quality & reasonably priced. Breakfast had everything you need and so fresh. Views and spa facilities were incredible. Couldn’t recommend enough. I am gluten free and only had to tell the restaurant once. The next day they remembered, freshly made gluten free bread every day. Gluten free nibbles with drinks. Perfect. Massive shout out and thank you to Luca P who made our last meal so special. Very attentive and attention to deal was second to none. Thank you Kurhaus for the most amazing stay. "
