"The room was clean but the room had ants. We found ants on the table after we got back to our room. We did not leave any food on the table. The front door of the room had to slammed closed as the door was not square. The elevators had broken lights and buttons. The elevators also had a very strong smell of dampness. "Room spacious and clean but furniture and bathroom were dated and showed signs of wear. Bathroom had rust spots and set in grime. Worst was our AC was basically non functional and had to be set to lowest (60) but even then we almost asked to switch rooms. They sent a tech right away to try and fix it when we complained but it was a minimal benefit. That was our last night though so maybe it was going to improve more. Who knows. "The experience can be divided in two parts. Part A-First day, Friday night Terrible room, cigarette odor, bathroom door won’t open, A/C was noisy at night and was hard to sleep. Front desk response was a disaster. No other room, no solution for the door, limited air deodorizer and no solution for the A/C room. Part B, Saturday morning Much better response from the front desk. Got a new room, normal bathroom door, good working A/C. Overall, average experience, not typical Hilton."
