I booked this hotel so my mom can have a great time in Phnom Penh. But when we got there, front desk service was not great. No one helped my 72-year-old mother with her backpack when we checked in (I was carrying our other things, and my own backpack). I paid for a second card at the front desk and when I tried it, it didn’t work. I called them and they told me I had to come down to front desk again to fix it. This process could’ve been more convenient. I also asked them to help me book a bus (they had the brochure for it). They said yes they can book it so I booked my hotel at my next destination—with the information that I can book my bus later. After that, I came down to confirm my bus and they said they forgot to check before they said yes to me, but they can’t book my bus because the Giant Ibis offices were closed (New Year’s) and “how would I call them if they’re closed?” were her words. I get that but they could’ve been more attentive. Staff at breakfast were helpful and friendly enough though!

Not recommended for solo female travellers
I felt uncomfortable anytime I went to the pool area. There was a man there asking to take a photo of me. He took that ok as a free for all and went to the extent on filming with a drone without asking. Also my safe had an error and my passport was stuck for a few hours right before departure. Not many food options near the hotel.

Nice enough for the price. Great location to BKK. Room was clean and tidy with a stocked minibar. The breakfast was minimal but met our needs.

Very affordable hotel. Staff was very friendly on check in and helpful. We only stayed one night and was a great find. Breakfast had an omelet station and a mix of Asian and Western foods. Beds were okay. Not as soft as other hotels in the area. They also were not super hard. The pool was nice and the workout room was small but adequate. A nice affordable hotel in the city

Took 1.5 hrs after check in time to get room. The bed was so hard it would have been easier to sleep on the floor. After they cleaned the room took one call to front desk and two trips down to front desk to get towels and toilet paper and then they blamed us for it not being brought up said we had the do not disturb sign out which I did earlier in the morning but was taken off after we hate breakfast and left for most of the day. For the money they charge I was disappointed. Breakfast was ok

An ok choice in Phnom Penh
Clean and comfortable in a good location. Adequate breakfast. Pool area is not as it looks on the photos. For the price, I’m sure there’s better value elsewhere.

Clean and centrally located hotel with nice rooms. Great WiFi. Courteous staff. Have stayed at this hotel/residence several times in the past two years. No complaints.

Overall the hotel is clean. However the staff accused me that I took a drink from minibar without verifying although I have told him that I never get anything from the minibar. I have to personally walk back to my room and snap a photo of the minibar MYSELF.

Lovely Sky Bar
The reception staff are very polite and extremely helpful. Rooms were large and clean with good air con. Lovely pool in sky bar. Unfortunately staff in sky bar were not so attentive as in reception.

Only negative of this place would be that the food onsite isn’t great. And it’s on the pricey side. The rest of the stay was fantastic. Would stay again.

It’s a nice hotel. Only problem we had really was the tv was out and not able to watch when asking front desk to come fix it. They said no that it would have to wait till the next day. It ended up being the cleaning lady the helped the wife get it working late in the morning. Never heard anything from hotel cleaning lady just fixed it on wife asking her

Hotel staff were very helpful. Very clean hotel and well situated. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Attached to the hotel is a supermarket which is very handy. Tuk Tuks available outside. I would recommend No5 Kim.

Walking distance to restaurants, and the mini mart and ATM rigjt on the ground floor is very handy. Apartment is comfortable and has great views.

Unclean, unfriendly, reluctant, poorly trained staff! 1st our room was not cleaned and after our complains they swept the dirt from one corner to the other. The couch was also full of long black hair - they had no vacuum (at the hotel) so they picked the hair by hand.... but at the end everything was still dirty. 2nd one shower drain was blocked and so the whole bath/toilet flooded- we had to complain 3 times and waited more than 6 hours. At the end the manager came with cleaning staff and they used a FORK from our kitchen!!!! to clean the drain and put that disgusting stuff in a towel! Manager directly with them!? 3rd no coffee possible to order at the breakfast- they ran out of coffee beans! 4th no towels at the pool at 9am (pool opened at 7) we would have to wait one hour or maybe longer they told us... 5th poor breakfast choices. And than they cut the mini croissants in half - you can guess why! No refill of water, juice and cups.....

There are water leakage issue and a plumber was sent to fix. However, the plumber couldn’t speak English and I had to make contact with customer service again To find out what the issue wasand what the plan was. None of the customer derive came up to check on us. They did not offer a change of room voluntarily while the plumber was doing the work. However, my request for room change was fulfilled when I asked for it.

This hotel ia 2 years old, facilities are still new and good. The breakfast spread is good with a great city view at the roof top. The location is great with a AEON mini mart at the hotel lobby that sells everything. It also has a few tuk tuk drivers which charge very reasonbale rate for round trips to markets and places of interest.
