Had an issue with Expedia not booking my room after my package deal! This stay was booked up and not able to accommodate my room, to no fault of their own. The office attendant Harvey was great, helped me get lined out for another place!

The rooms weren’t clean beer bottles under cabinets , chunks missing from the couch and also had a bunch of dirt and debris in it, stains on the carpet , food on the carpet, hair in tub, gaps in the door, couldn’t use balcony due to safety reasons , balcony door didn’t shut properly,elevators didn’t work , hot tub didn’t work, rooms smelled like old cigarettes, the property was all around nasty . Needless to say my family and I left

Not good starting with checking in had us waiting exactly at 3pm and had a super long line and only one staff member checking everyone in and in room we never had cold water to shower water was always super hot. We only stood there one night and left the following day couldn’t stand not taking a shower with super hot water when the outside temperature was 107* we will request our refund immediately.

I arrived after travelling internationally with two children to find out that the motel cancelled my reservation because they “ could get more money from other people” I showed my confirmation from Expedia and the guy at the front desk said well call Expedia so I did and they called the front desk but the guy refused to answer the first time Expedia called, he answered the second time and ended up saying all he could offer me was a room for twice at the price I had initially booked for he then hung up on the Expedia representative. We overheard him on a phone call with his manager who was saying it’s money over people. We heard other people having similar experiences at the front desk. We heard the man offer Some people better rates if they gave promised to give him a good review. This was a horrible experience and I would not want anyone else to ever go through it. Please don’t consider staying at this property.

March 16, 2026 Subject: Formal Dispute and Refund Request – Motel 6 Booking To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally dispute the charge of $100 for a hotel stay that I booked through Expedia using Affirm financing due to my flight back to New York City being cancelled because of severe weather conditions. Because of the unexpected cancellation, I urgently needed accommodations and could not afford the additional nights at my previous hotel or the extremely high airline rebooking costs. I therefore booked a stay at Motel 6 through Expedia. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was unacceptable and far below basic health and safety standards. Before arriving, I called the hotel and was informed that early check-in would be available. However, when I arrived, I was told the room was not ready and I was forced to wait in the lobby for nearly two hours. During this time, the staff would not even allow me to use the restroom. At approximately 3:00 PM, the receptionist stated that the room was ready and collected my information. At that time, I was suddenly informed that the water in the room was not working. This was extremely frustrating because this information was not disclosed while I was waiting in the lobby for hours. Once I entered the room, the conditions were disturbing. The room had a very strong odor and was extremely dirty. The carpet, stairs, walls, and bed sheets were covered in stains and appeared unsanitary. I have photos and videos docum

The good. Price is decent. The walls are concrete so it is super quiet between rooms. Plumbing works. A/C is the best. Rooms are very very big. The downside. It is very dated and run down. Everything you see in old 70s motel is what you see here. It’s old. It has that old Reno smell. The guests here are a bit… not bad but just… ya know. Would I stay here again? Maybe. I did sleep very very well.

Charged me additional charges but when questioned about it they said they didn’t charge me that and the place had a foul smell. The pool was filthy. The elevator didn’t work. They had holes in carpet and attempted to patch it. Dirty pillows and sheets, slept on top of the blankets. The shower had no hot water. Floor of shower was DISGUSTING! The room smelt as if I had been in a house of a former chain smoker who lived there for their whole life! No large trashcan in room. Only one remote but two TVs…. Definitely don’t recommend! The guy at the desk tried to have me do a google review so he could make some kind of commission off it before we even saw the hotel room….

The photos online make the place seem much nicer than it is. The rooms are a bit run down, theres no shampoo or conditioner provided, the pool looked dirty, the elevators were broken, and questionable characters frequented the area. It said no smoking on the property but it regularly smelled of different types of smoke around the lot. Theres not any usable WIFI despite jt being advertised. I wouldnt stay here again. They also under-refunded my deposit.

Dirty rooms, pool was not usable due to dirt and debris. Jacuzzi was marked as in repair so that was also unable to be used. There was a hole punched through the bedroom door. Bedroom door had hinges that were not attached. Torn carpet dirty carpet. No in-room coffee or hair dryer.

Pool looked okay. The rooms were poorly cleaned. Lamp shades were majorly crooked. Single seat in the living room had stains+++ on it. Was afraid to sit in it. Worried about what the stains were!! Large one foot dark stain on the rug in main living room. Blood vs other?? Very out dated and dark. Other patrons were not of the normal standard of living. Did not feel save in room as the patio door did not lock. Lady assistant manager offered a full refund as we were not comfortable nor felt safe. We took 10 min to figure out what we should do and find another hotel ASAP. Then took another 15 min to find the lady assistant manager to get the refund. We were denied the full refund from male manager stating we spent 30 minutes in the room and therefore they will charge one night accommodation.

The front desk person informed me they just had a murder on the property moments ago and did I still want to check in. Apparently police had arrested the shooter and I was tired so checked in and went to sleep. Lots of sketchy characters and rooms under remodel but no major problems. Pool wasn’t clean.
