A decent walk to get food

We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room was first class and the internal facilities at the hotel were really great. Externally the hotel looked a little drab and rundown but that just gave the wrong impression to our actual experience. Staff went out of their way to help. Breakfast was top quality and in a lovely setting. Proximity to the beach was good.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel - it’s truly impressive. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and offered plenty of storage, while the bathroom was bright with a powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, healthy options. My only issue was that the pool closed for 1.5 hours around midday for cleaning. While it’s understandable for the pool itself to be unavailable, the surrounding outdoor area was also closed, meaning we had to leave the sunbeds, which felt...

Staff were fantastic and made the trip. Unfortunately the typhoon hit as we got in, they did offer to cancel the stay on the day but we were nearly there, and they made every effort to make the trip enjoyable despite limitations from the weather. Only qualms are that the food in the restaurant could be better for vegetarians but the kitchen staff accomodated changes as requested.

One of our favourite places to stay on our holiday. We liked the decor, the bathroom had underfloor heating and the staff were incredible, I can't say enough about them. They helped us book a cab for a very early ferry to orchid island and even made us a breakfast box the night before! My Chinese isn't very good but they were incredibly patient and spoke slowly. We loved the roof-top pool - it is a great place to relax after a day exploring southern Taiwan. There are some very good restaurants a short walk from the hotel.
