"The room overlooked both the pool and the beach, and the sunrise was amazing each morning. Breakfast was really good with different options, and included two different juice types that changed daily. Also coffee and ice water. The staff was very attentive to our needs, booking massages, golf cart rentals, and outings. Would 11/10 recommend this hotel. "

"The property location is excellent but what makes this place so wonderful is its laid-back atmosphere and superb staff. Maria, Valerie and everyone at the resort make you feel at home. "All of the staff were extremely nice and professional. The property Is very well maintained and gorgeous. The 2 bedroom ocean view was spacious and directly on the beach. During my stay the occupancy was low and some services which were told would be available such as room service was not. I had to walk to the restaurant and order then wait for my food. Also because of low occupancy the poolside restaurant and pizza place closed early as well. It would have been helpful to have this information...

"Loved our stay. Best pool In Placencia which helped as our stay was when sargassum was in the water. Great continental breakfast and restaurant was great for lunch and dinner too. Service was great too. Loved Placencia."

"The room was a disappointment given the price point. The sliding glass door on one-side was shattered, one of the bathroom windows was also broken, the left sliding glass door wouldn’t lock and or close ( eventually fixed) the sofa and comforter cover were both stained. I felt that my complaints were met with frustration by the front desk staff. I actually considered leaving for $473 a night I was frustrated all solutions were a take away, we-booked an ocean view with a king bed, we were...

"This is a very nice small boutique hotel near the beach. The only compliant I had was about communication with their staff. I had spoken twice with their staff to request help with scheduling a taxi to the airport and was told it was confirmed. However on the day of my departure there was none scheduled. The staff on duty didn't know anything about it. I had to wait for a taxi to be called and this could have caused me to miss my flight. "
