"Everything about this property is wonderful. We cannot say enough about the hotel staff! Literally, EVERYTHING was great. We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars...

"An escape into the lush jungle with all the amenities of a four star hotel. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds after a fresh, homemade breakfast. A must stay if you have a car rental. "

"Matthew and Juliet were very nice and recommended a lot of great places around the area, which was very helpful. The grounds were very pretty with lots of plants and fountains. We saw a poison dart frog. The breakfast, pancakes and french toast, were very good. The grounds and room were very small but the space is utilized as best as possible. Very convenient location. "

"I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The pool was well-maintained and a nice spot to unwind. A special shoutout to Maria at the front desk—she was incredibly helpful and sweet, and made check-in a breeze. Great customer service like that really makes a difference. "The property is set in amazing rainforest gardens, the hosts are charming and welcoming and so enthusiastic about the wildlife in the area, so happy to show visitors the frogs and lizards, sloths and birds. I absolutely loved it. It felt so safe, clean and friendly i would definitely recommend La Kukula Lodge "
